The title of the Card Game that I created is called “Mines and Grenades”. The first idea of this game is come from a Japanese Anime “BTOOOM!”, which is a kinda military
anime, talking about people are carried to an isolated island to competite until death with different kinds of explosives. This concept interestes me a lot, and lead me to created this game “Mines and Grenades”.
For the Game play part, I was influenced by board game like “Gold Miner” and “Betrayal on the House of Silence Hill”. Their common point is that the game map is not provided, but players need to make use of or even created their own path. So that I take this concept into my game and present it in my own unique way.
“Mines and Grenades” is a game which challenges your luck, realtime
strategy and logic. It is card game for 2~6 people (4 people most appropriate). The special part of this game is that, all the cards are placed on the field in the beginning of the game, and players don’t have to draw cards. Through out the game, players need to throw grenades to each other and evade to a safe field card in other to survive, the last player who stands on the field is the champion.
